Hi, I'm Shakeel Zain.
I'm a full-stack software engineer based in Lahore, Pakistan, working across the stack since 2018. My core toolkit is Node.js, NestJS, and React, with PostgreSQL and MongoDB for data and AWS for infrastructure.
At Tenx.ai I work as a Sr Node.js Developer and team lead, responsible for both the backend and frontend of the product. Before that I freelanced on Upwork, building MERN-stack applications for remote clients, and at Pikessoft I designed database and server architectures, built UIs and APIs for client projects, and handled deployments on EC2 and serverless Lambda functions.
I've led distributed architectures built on microservices and micro frontends, integrated third-party services like Salesforce and Google Sheets, and shipped features such as face authentication with AWS Rekognition and video-calling between patients and doctors.
